all bushfires were so bad I feel sorry for all the people and i hope they are okay.also thank you to our brave firefighters

Thank you all, for all the hours of painful, exhausting work you put in. There are clearly no words adequate enough to express the debt we all owe you. As a community, as a state, as someone who wept for the lives lost and the courage shown by firefighters and victims alike we all owe you so much.

You are anonymous to me, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to thank you for all you did during the recent terrible bush fires. The sacrifices you made and the lifes you touched will have ripple effects that you can't imagine. Congratulations and thank you!

Thank you very much do I actually don’t know what to say. I f it wasn’t for you then lots more people would have died and lots of other things would have happened. Some people have perished and I feel so sorry for them. I think it is very horrible that some people (arsonists) light fires deliberately. I feel very sorry for all the people having to rebuild their lives. Sally

I realise now how important it is that there are some firemen around nowadays.

I am in Year 4C at Jamboree Heights state school and I am writing to you to thank you for saving all those people and animals from the Victorian bush fires and the floods in north Queensland.
So many people died but thank you for saving so many others.

As a retired Ambulance Paramedic of 27 years and being involved in the 1983 fires in the Dandenongs I have a full understanding and comprehesion of what emergency workers go through both mentally and physically but I do not hesitate to say that the bravest of all are those on the front line, the fire fighters. Thank you all most sincerely. You are true heroes.

Fantastic job all around by everyone. It looked like the end of the world out there and we can only stand amazed at the professional and courageous way you all went about your dangerous work.
